1936-38 Chicago Cubs #2 Palm Beach Style Jersey Vest (MEARS LOA)

Offered is a Chicago Cubs Palm Beach style jersey vest likely dating to circa 1936-38. King Sportswear Company and size 38 tags sewn in collar with a Made for AG Spalding & Bros tag sewn inside the tail while a Cubs logo is sewn to the left chest and number 2 is sewn to the reverse. Billy Herman (1937) and Gabby Hartnett (1937-38) were rostered under number 2 for the Cubs during the stated time frame. Excessive wear shown with repairs covering nearly the entire surface of the jersey. (67Q0139)
