Offered is a black and red stitched baseball which was hit for a home run by Hall of Fame New York Yankees slugger Babe Ruth during the Far Eastern Championship Games at Rizal Memorial Stadium in the Philippines on December 2, 1934. Ruth participated in the games on a team of US All Stars which included his Yankees teammate Lou Gehrig and fellow Hall of Fame slugger Jimmie Foxx. "Babe Ruth Home Run Ball December 2nd, 1934 Philippines Rizal Memorial Stadium" handwritten on a side panel in period ink with a signature from Ruth below the penning. Heavy use shown to baseball though the signature and handwritten details remain easily discernible. (79G0413)
