Offered is a 15.5" x 39" x 10.5" travel trunk with "New York Yankees Medical Supplies Dr. E. A. Spies" painted in red lettering. A Cunard Whitestar Line Cruises decal is affixed along with a partial US Customs decal & another partial decal. A New York Times obituary published March 23rd 1937 for Edwin A. Spies indicates that he had been with the New York Yankees for three years prior to his death. Trunk shows heavy use with broken leather straps on either side. (33I0121)
