Offered is a red and black stitched Spalding Official National League John Heydler baseball which was signed on a side panel by Pittsburgh Pirates shortstop Floyd "Arky" Vaughan early on in his Hall of Fame playing career. Excessive use shown to the ball with only faint remnants of the original manufacturer's stamping remaining visible. The signature itself has survived realtively unscathed by comparison to the rest of the ball with slight scuffing and fading present. (54H0022)
