Lot #112:

1930s Tris Speaker Cleveland Indians Career Stat Mini-Bat - American Folk Art

Talk about a perfect bedfellow for the Napoleon Lajoie bat in the MEARS July auction, look no further than this Tris Speaker mini-bat.

This mini walloping stick, registering in at 18", has an artistic twist. Speaker's baseball accomplishments are perfectly painted in two-color drop shadow formation. All angles are occupied with statistics. Crafted contemporary to Speaker's life, this item is a genuine representation of American Folk Art.
