1930s Kiki Cuyler Amateur Industrial League Jersey - Chicago Cubs (MEARS Auction LOA)

Kiki Cuyler sponsored a baseball team when he wasn't dominating on the diamond for the Chicago Cubs. In the 1930s, this Cuyler's Cubs jersey was used by an amateur or industrial league ballplayer.

The gray flannel button-up shows outstanding use characteristics.

Cuyler Cubs is expressed across the front in single-color blue felt. There is slight material loss. An A.G. Spalding manufacturer's tag is sewn in the collar of this masterpiece.

Blue reinforcement (now purple) is built around the neck (minor material loss) to add to the aesthetics. There is no number on the reverse, so this may date to Cuyler's initial stages with the Cubs.
