By 1938, the Northern League had become firmly entrenched in the social fabric of the Upper Midwest. The Fargo-Moorhead Twins, Duluth Dukes, Superior Blues, Eau Claire Bears, Winnipeg Goldeyes and the Grand Forks Chiefs became mainstays of a full season, Class C professional league. This massive medal sign measures 35" x 9 1/2" and emphatically states "Northern League". There are a few touches on the reverse but the sign still has plenty of life left in it. The front has some minor corrosion.
