Star power was at no premium when the 1929 Chicago Cubs took the field. Squatty outfielder Hack Wilson was joined by the Rajah and Gabby Hartnett as the Cubs rostered one of their finest teams in history.

Sadly, all most people remember is Game 4 of the Fall Classic when Wilson inexplicably let two baseballs get lost in the sun. The baseball gods were unforgiving as 10 runs crossed the plate and Philadelphia took a commanding 3 games to 1 lead. Poor Hack was just a little hungover.

All of the men who made 1929 memorable, the aforementioned, along with William Wrigley Jr., Bill Veeck Sr. and Hall of Fame skipper Joe McCarthy are pictured on this glorious 36" x 10" panoramic photo of Wrigley Field with head shots surrounding the famous venue.

The condition on this is FR because of paper loss on the edges and moderate staining in the middle. A central crease also penetrates through the paper. This is framed.
