Offered is a black & red stitched Spalding Official National League John Heydler baseball which was used during the Pittsburgh Pirates 4-3 victory over the Brooklyn Robins on July 29, 1927 at Forbes Field. "Jul 29 1927" handwritten on the sweet spot while the ball has been signed by approximately 14 Pirates & Robins including Lloyd Waner (rookie season), Jewel Ens, Adam Comorosky, Jess Petty, Fred Brickell, Donnie Bush & more. Ball shows heavy use leaving some of the signatures more difficult to discern than others. (95W0518)
