1927 Joe Dugan New York Yankees World Series Ring (MEARS LOA)

Offered is a 1927 New York Yankees World Series ring manufactured for Joe Dugan. Face of ring reads "New York Yankees World Champions" around a single stone while the sides feature an eagle crest with "New York" and "1927" engraved. "J.A. Dugan" is also engraved inside the ring for Yankees infielder Joseph Anthony Dugan. Original rings presented to players by the Yankees contained additional 14Kt gold engraving on the interior. That engraving is not present on this ring which leads us to believe this was a replacement ordered at some point by Dugan. (79G0418)
