In addition to enjoying a prosperous Hall of Fame playing career, in which he took home two MVP Awards, Rogers Hornsby was also a longtime manager with 153 career wins at the helm.

This tremendous 5" x 7" photo offering shows Hornsby during the 1926 season, his second season as St. Louis' player/manager. And, boy, what a season it was! Not only did the iconic infielder hit .317 with 93 RBI, he also led the Cardinals to an 89-65 record en route to the World Series title.

Beyond a horizontal crease running down the bottom of the photograph, this vintage Culver Pictures Inc. photo is in impressive standing in relation to its age. NM condition. 00556
