When this photo was snapped he was just Edwin Snider of Los Angeles, California and there was nothing he was likely looked forward to more than naptime. Twenty years later he would be the Duke of Flatbush roaming the grass of Ebbets Field and looking forward to nothing more than a belt high fastball. Photo originated directly from a Snider Family photo album and measures just under 5" x 7". (G0389)
