1926-42 Tom Mix - Original Photos (MEARS Photo LOA) - Lot of 7

Photos measure 8" x 8" to 8" x 10". Tom Mix, Hollywood's first western movie star, is depicted seven times in this collection. The photos include Mix on the set of "The Rainbow Trail" as well as opposite his wife, Victoria Forde, in other films. The collection also includes one photograph, reprinted in 1940 following his tragic death, showing Mix starring with a circus.

On the Reverse: William Fox Presents... stamps, hand written descriptions, affixed newspaper clipping, editor's markings, dated stamps.
