The Traynor model bat was only in the Spalding line from 1926-29. It is one of the nicest looking Traynor bats we have seen. It is very dark with very deep factory stamps. The bat measures 35" and weighs 36.2 oz. It was used by one Bob Faust and was returned to Louisville on 6-13-32 but we can find no such person listed. The bat was used and shows some light deadwood on the back of the barrel with deep stitch marks on the left side. There is a multiple handle crack that extends about 10" and has some old vintage nails but they are on top of the barrel and cannot be really seen when faced forward. A nice addition to the Pirates or HOF collection. Collection of MEARS staff. MEARS auction LOA. 00294
