1925-30 Rogers Hornsby Hanna Batrite Professional Model Game Used Bat (MEARS Authentic)

Featured in this lot is a Rogers Hornsby professional model Hanna Batrite game used bat from the late 1920's. "TA Hornsby 10 5" & "Georgia Driver Steel Temper" are stamped on the barrel along with a 1925-30 period Hanna Batrite center brand.

Currently weighing 35 ounces and measuring 35" this Batrite was modeled after Hornsby's specifications. Heavy use is evident throughout most notably in the form of a heavy cracking of the finish and a handle crack which has been repaired with 16 period nails. Remnants of period handle tape also remain.

MEARS grades this bat as authentic.
