This original, first generation photo, originated from one of the newspaper archives from the John Rogers Photo Archives.
Measures 5.5" x 10". Referee Andy Griffin holds out a sponge to Georges Carpentier to indicate that the fight is over after Gene Tunney dazed him just 14 seconds into the 15th and final round of their bout at the Polo Grounds.
