1924-30 Babe Ruth Zinn Beck Diamond Ace 100 Professional Model Game Bat (MEARS Authentic)

Examination of the diamond centerbrand dates this bat from the1924-30 era. The Diamond 100 Ace model is documented to have been used in the major leagues. The documentation comes in the form of actual examined bats, and period photographs examined by MEARS.

This bat measures 34" and currently weighs 31 ounces. H&B records list Ruth bats at N/S (not specified), 34.5”, 35”, and 36. Ruth weights aredocumented at 34 to 44+ ounces. Weight loss due to time is also a possibility. Regarding condition, the handle is discolored from the removal of tape, 1" x 1" piece missing from the barrel end, nails in the handle,and various gouging throughout the barrel end.
