1923 Johnny Schulte H&B Louisville Slugger Professional Model Game Used Bat (MEARS LOA) Sidewritten w/ Mailing Label

Offered is a professional model H&B Louisville Slugger with a SCHULTE barrel stamping and side writing which appears to read in part "Lory 7-9-23". The only player with the we could locate with the surname Schulte in 1923 was Johnny Schulte who played primarily with the San Antonio Bears of the Texas League but also received a seven game call up to the St. Louis Browns. Bat currently measures 35", weighs 35.5 ounces and shows heavy use with ball marks, stitch marks, grain swelling, a chipped knob, a cracked handle and shipping label remnants over the center brand.
