Lot #163:

1921-22 Bernie Friberg H&B Louisville Slugger Professional Model Bat Philadelphia Phillies (MEARS Auction LOA)

Friberg was a solid player who hit over .300 five times. He came up with the Chicago Cubs in 1919 where he played mid way through 1925 before moving on to the Phillies that same season where he stayed until 1932. During the 1921-22 campaigns, Friberg toted this H&B bat.

This 34-inch, 39.6-ounce pre-model number piece of lumber is side written. It shows heavy signs of game use in the form of heavy ball marks, swelling, cleat marks, dents/gouges and an 8-inch handle crack.

It grades MEARS Authentic.
