1920s-30s Exhibit Card Style Coin Operated 1c Table Top Machine

Children probably saddled up to this 1c machine in hopes of securing a baseball postcard of their favorite ballplayer.

We could imagine getting a Babe Ruth or Lou Gehrig would have equated to a successful day or maybe there was a young Jimmie Foxx postcard to be had.

This 1c machine has two baseball postcards visible. There is a stack of comic strip themed postcards in the back, sorry we cheated and looked. The metal ones are seen but these dark early wood models rarely come up for sale and the wood on this one is georgous.

The machine takes pennies but doesn't dispense cards out. Our guess is this could easily be fixed.

The wood appears original and shows signs of use. This weighs 11 pounds and has a piece of glass (moderate chipping on sides) which will fit in-place.
