1920's Phil O'Dowd Bantamweight Champion Letter from Promoter Willard Stuart w/ Original Envelope

Offered is a letter dating to circa the 1920's which was sent to the matchmaker at the DeForest Athletic Club in Long Branch, New Jersey by boxing promoter Willard Stuart in hopes of securing a bout for his Middle West Bantamweight Champion Phil O'Dowd. Fold lines present to letter, which is typed on letterhead with two images of O'Dowd and also features what appears to be a stamped signature at the bottom. Original envelope postmarked "Sep 20 7 PM Coulmbus, Ohio" will also attend. (E0141)
