This is one of those gold foil stamped bats that most of the gold has flaked off. The bat measures 34" and weighs 34.6 oz. with most use on top of the bat. It is not cracked and there is the remains of the original handle tape. It is side written Ollie O'Mara 6-9-39 (he last played in 1928)It is vault marked on both ends O17. Ollie played in the minor leagues from 1911-28 with the Oakland Oaks, Indianapolis Indians, Atlanta and others. Collection of MEARS staff. MEARS auction LOA.
