As best we can see, this fungo was returned by Bruce Ha___ ? with return date of 6-8?-?. We checked the records and the only name that corresponds is Bruce Hayes who played in the minor leagues from 1904-11. As such, this bat would have had to have been sent back to Louisville while he was a coach or manager of some team.
