Offered is a large lot of 3,751 vintage ring magazines from the 1920’s to the 1990’s. Included in the lot is...

The 1920’s-30’s offer 33 magazines including stars on the covers such as Charley Rosenberg, Harry Felix, Gene Tunney and Jack Dempsey. Also includes reproductions of the first ever ring issue produced in 1922. The conditions of the programs range from G-VG to VG-EX with many of the magazines missing covers or have serious creasing and corner wear.

The 1940’s boast 274 programs with stars on the cover such as Max Schmelling, Jersey Joe Walcott, Jack Johnson, Rocky Graziano, Joe Louis, Joe Louis vs. Jersey Joe Walcott fight issues, Joe Louis vs. Billy Conn fight issue, Beau Jack, Sugar Ray Robinson in Army uniform, Dempsey, Benny Leonard, Billy Conn, Gus Lesnevich, James Braddock all in military gear and (2) Ring Silver Anniversary Issues. The conditions of the programs range from G-VG to VG-EX with writing, tears, paper loss on many of the issues. All covers are intact.

The 1950’s feature 687 programs that feature covers such as Joe Louis vs. Ezzard Charles, Sugar Ray Robinson vs. Jake LaMotta, Rocky Marciano, Harry ‘Kid’ Matthews, Ezzard Charles vs. Rocky Marciano, Sugar Ray Robinson vs. Randolph Turpin, Carmen Basillo, Archie Moore, Floyd Patterson and Jack Dempsey. All covers were intact.

The 1960 boast 715 programs. Highlights include Cassius Clay, Sonny Liston, Floyd Patterson, Patterson representing the U.S. in Egypt, Clay vs. Liston fight cover, Cassius Clay ‘I am King’ on cover, Joe Louis, "How I would’ve Clobbered Clay cover", Clay pictured with the quote “Louis Clobber Me? He must be Joking!”, Dempsey, Louis and Clay pictured as The Era Builders, Clay pictured saying “I will retire Unbeaten” Clay, Patterson, Frazier on cover. All of the covers are intact and the condition ranges from G-VG, with writing, creasing and paper loss to EX-NM condition.

Offered in the 70’s are 923 magazines. The magazines feature such issues as: Muhammad Ali with crown on his head, Ali-Frazier, What Really Happened?, George Foreman, Muhammad Ali saying "I will bring Peace to the World", Exclusive 18 page story on Ali, 50th anniversary issue, Sugar Ray Leonard on cover, Joe Frazier says “Clay’s Jab Gone, I’ll KO Him", Larry Holmes, Joe Louis on same cover, Super Fight Number III Ali vs. Frazier, Ali vs. Frazier Thiller in Manilla, Muhammad Ali and George Foreman pictured with piles of cash ready to deposit to bank, Foreman vs. Frazier fight cover, Foreman vs. Ali in Africa and cover with Jack Dempsey saying “ I would’ve beaten Clay, Frazier will”, Clay-Frazier, the real story. The issues rate from VG-EX to NM.

The 1980’s have 921 magazines in the collection. Highlights include: Evander Holyfield Fighter of the Year, Thomas ‘Hitman’ Hearns, Mike Tyson, Sugar Ray Robinson, Still the Sweetest, Tyson-Spinks fight preview, George Foreman, Joe Louis, His Life in Words, Is Money Motivating Ali’s Comeback, Holmes vs. Ali, Leonard vs. Duran program, Marvin Hagler holding title belt, Michael Spinks vs. Pinklon Thomas fight preview, Mike Tyson, Can Anybody Beat Him?’ Issue and Muhammad Ali Hall of Fame Issue. The issues range from G-VG with some paper loss to EX-NM.

Offered is a collection of 198 issues from the 90’s.
