Honus Wagner had all the time in the world in 1918 as his baseball career was over. After a little hiatus from the game, Wagner resurfaced later on a coach.

From 1918 is this check for the sum of "$12.50" to Phillips Bros. The entire check appears to be made out in Wagner's hand. Worth special mention is the elaborate Wagner pennig in black fountain pen.

There is a fold mark but it barely touches the "J" in John. Overall a Hall of Fame worthy check from the Flying Dutchman.
