Offered is a lot of 12 game used and side written bats of baseball players that originated in the old Louisville Slugger vaults. Each bat shows heavy game use and all are side written, most of which are partially or fully visible. The bats date from the 1917-31 era. Players include:

1921-31 H&B Smiths Bakery, 35", 36oz, heavy use with a 9" handle crack and some grain separation on the barrel, unreadable side writing

1921-31 H&B Jos Seibert, 34.5", 36oz, heavy use with 18" crack on handle, side writing is faint but reads J.A. Chinney 4-11-28

1921-31 H&B Al Kyte, 34", 37oz, broken in two pieces and held together by nails, side written Al Kyte 10-14-31

1921-31 H&B Wade Shutt, 35", 37oz, heavy use with 3" crack on handle, side written L.T. Jones 6-27-38

1921-31 H&B Kilby, 34" 34oz, heavy use with 13" crack on handle and 4" piece missing, side writing unreadable

1921-31 H&B Cleary, 35.5", 34oz, heavy use, broken into 3 pieces and held together by nails, side writing unreadable

1917-21 D. Barol, 36", 38oz, heavy use with 5" handle crack, side writing unreadable

Also there are 5 bats that have blank barrel stampings. All are cracked and have that nice vintage look. A great lot for the baseball collector or for decorating a sports display.
