Offered is a professional model Lew McCarty H&B Louisville Slugger game used bat which dates to his time split between the Brooklyn Dodgers, New York Giants and St. Louis Cardinals between 1916 & 1921. Two separate incidents of sidewriting present though neither can not be discerned in full.

1916-22 era H&B center brand present while "McCarty" is stamped on the barrel in block letters. Bat measures 34.5", weighs 35 ounces and shows heavy use with ball marks, a 13" handle crack and deadwood on the reverse of the barrel which has been repaired with approximately 50 period nails.

MEARS grades this bat as authentic. (G0364)
