Our guess is this heavy-duty wool flannel jersey was worn north of the border.
Prominently featured on front of this button-up garment are the letters "QB" which we believe stands for Quebec. Another offering (Upsahla flannel) in this auction is from the same time/labeling period and we think that is also from Cananda.
"QB" are displayed over the left breast in single-color blue. The collar and sleeve end colors have faded to a purplish-hue. Four buttons are perfectly in-place on front. Sewn in the collar is a Spalding manufacturer's tag and blank swatch.
No moth holes are evident and the jersey shows extensive use with dirt stains in spots.
