This may qualify as the oldest football relics in the MEARS August auction. Offered is a vintage leather helmet, shoulder pads and football cleats.

These are all circa 1915-20 and show some age/playing wear. The helmet has "dog ears" and wool padding on the inside. A makeshift chinstrap is included on front. The leather shoulder pads show heavy wear.
