The rouge Federal League lasted only three seasons from 1913-15 and anything pertaining to that era is highly prized by collectors and extremely scarce. This is the first Victor Federal League bat that we have seen. It was used by someone in organized ball as it was sent back to Louisville Slugger as evidenced by the remains of the original shipping label and an area that once bore side writing but is no longer visible.

Year: 1913-15

Length: 33"

Weight: 39.6 oz.

Side Writing: Not readable.

Game Use: Most use on back of barrel that now has some dead wood and grain separation along with some vintage nail repairs. The barrel is loaded with cleat marks as well.

Handle: 7" closed multiple crack.

Comments: This bat is an incredible relic from the Federal League that was actually used and returned during that era by a professional ball player. Deep factory stamps. Knob is hand turned with no stamp.
