Lot #1179:

1911-15 Tris Speaker 40 T.S. H&B Louisville Slugger Decal Bat - Boston Red Sox - Cleveland Indians - (MEARS LOA)

Killer wood and a perfect factory finish are readily apparent. The decal has about 40% still present.

Length: 34.5" but the knob is sans any stamps and is hand turned.

Weight: 42.1 oz.

Side Writing: None.

Game Use: Bat remains in near mint original finish condition showing just some very light use on barrel.

Handle: No.

Comments: Very rare to find an 80 year old bat in such fine original condition. If the decal was just as nice as this bat, would be worth thousands. Bat was made to early game specs.
