If a youngster had a penny to spare he/she could afford a coveted Exhibit card. This 1 cent machine still has its original display advertisement in place under the glass.

A Harry Heilman card is featured as the display card. The placard placed behind the glass reads: "1 c Put Penny in Slot. Push slide in until it stops, then pull out slowly and receive card."

A H.G. Sandberg & Co. card is affixed to the advertisement. The machine is made out of solid wood and appears to have been repainted. A screw is holding the back in-place.

We cannot confirm this is still in working order, but this listing makes for tremendous display and reminds us of baseball's golden age. This is the first of this type we have ever seen and the once card display machines are rarely seen in any style.
