Offered is a rare turn of the century J.F. Hillerich & Son Louisville Slugger patent bat. Bat measures 31", weighs 36 ounces and features a 1897-1911 era center brand along with "Patent No 716541" stamped on the barrel. A photocopy of the original patent applied for on October 31 1902 and granted on December 23 1902 will also attend. Heavy use evident barrel gouging, dead wood and handle tape present. (G0345)
