Offered is a vintage football nose guard dating to shortly after the Turn of the Century. Embossed text which appears to read "Pat'd. Sept. 29 1891" is present inside nose while a number of initial have been etched in the guard including "Season of 02 + 03", "JD '04", "MHS", "JD" and more. What appears to be the original strap is also affixed though it has snapped. Heavy wear. (85J0208)
