Offered is probably the nicest example of this style mask that we have ever encountered. It has all of the leather intact including the small pads with no holes or cracking of any kind and the very fragile and thin straps are still soft and supple. This is the early style of mask where the pads are attached with thin brass wire, all of which are like the day they were made. The black painted cage retains at least 70 % of the original enamel. The makers logo is stamped on the outside of the chin pad and is visible but faded. All and all, the nicest example of this early style mask that you will see. Collection of MEARS staff. 01063
