Offered are a pair of boxing gloves donned by one of the combatants in the 1899 Light Heavyweight Title bout between Frank Erne and Kid Lavigne. The names of each boxer have been written on each glove in white paint. Label present on each glove though the manufacturer is no longer legible due to fading. Heavy use evident. (E0316)
