1890s Baseball Town Team Paperweight

Before the turn of the century, town teams were the craze. Each weekend, small towns would assemble teams with local talent and play neighboring squads.

Offered is a glass paperweight honoring a town team. The uniform D&B Stry across the front, most likely a local squad. This is EX/MT with no chipping on the glass or encapsulated photo. The photo shows a very early town team as evidenced by the workmans glove, the early catchers gear and no shin guards. A really scarce early piece.
