1861 Headquarters Army of the Potomac Interior Lines Day Pass

This approximately 2.25" x 3.5" card was issued to a visitor (and three friends) of the Headquarters Army of the Potomac, granting them access to the interior line. As much has been handwritten in pen, and it has bears the signature of the Chief of Staff.

The item has experienced some discoloration, has incurred some minor blemishes and has a torn lower right corner. But for an item nearing its 150th birthday, it's held up exceptionally well. A1540
