1980 Bruce Sutter Chicago Cubs Road Display Jersey (MEARS LOA)

Offered is a 1980 Bruce Sutter Chicago Cubs road display jersey. Wilson size 46 tag sewn in collar with a strip reading "42 80 1 44" while "Chicago", number 42, "Sutter" and a team logo patch are also sewn to the white pinstriped blue knit pullover. Given numerous inconsistencies (1974-78 Wilson tag on a 1980 jersey, size 46 on Wilson tag vs. size 44 on supplemental tagging, font difference when compared to on hand exemplar) it is our opinion this jersey is precluded from being team issued/game worn.
