Offered is a Boston Red Sox home uniform which has been signed in black marker in the collar by legendary hurler Luis Tiant. Wilson size 44 tag sewn to tail while "Red Sox" and number 23 are sewn to the jersey in red on blue double tackle twill, though the number is not original to the jersey with outline stitching of the previous number visible. "Tiant" & "Wagner" are also written on the inner button tape of the jersey with heavy fading to the Wagner. This is the first year the Red Sox returned to button down style after wearing pullover style jerseys from 1973-78. Accompanying are a matching pair of Wilson size 36 pants which also feature "Tiant" and "Wagner" written in the waistband. Staining present to both garments. (65S0369)
