While the 1958 Green Bay Packers finished 1-10-1, the season was not a complete failure. Ray Nitschke, Jim Taylor and Jerry Kramer played their rookie seasons with the club gaining valuable NFL experience and at the end of the season coach Ray McLean would be fired paving the way for the arrival of Vince Lombardi. The rest, as they are so fond of saying, is history. Offered here is a ticket stub from the opening game of the 1958 season against the Chicago Bears at Lambeau Field. The original owner of this stub sat in section 28, row 28, seat 1 and watched as Nitschke, Taylor and Kramer graced the frozen tundra of Lambeau Field for the first of what would be many times.
