Voted the greatest lineman of this half of century, Jerry Kramer is arguably the greatest lineman ever to play the game. Although not currently in Canton, he is certainly a Hall of Famer in this writer's opinion.
The key member to Lombardi's Packer sweep, Jerry Kramer was a member of 5 World Championship teams and 2 Super Bowl victories. For this auction, we are offering the only known game worn jersey of this football legend. Kramer has also signed the front numeral 4 in black marker.
Manufactured by the Sand Knit company, the original tail tag is intact. The size 52 flag tag is still anchored, and this jersey boasts the rare neck size tag (52). Most of the tags were lost during laundering. Jersey was issued with full sleeves (yellow, white, yellow, white, yellow pattern) and a crew neck collar. #64 is zig zag sewn on both the front, reverse, and sleeves.
Exhibiting heavy game wear, there are three team instituted repairs, (1.)front numeral 4, (2.) right shoulder yoke (3.) Area right of reverse numeral 4. All tackle twill exhibits heavy puckering and game wear.
A finer example of a Lombardi era Packers jersey doesn't exisit. Final Grade: MEARS A10.
