Chicago Cubs second sacker Glenn Beckert donned this road uniform during his 1973 campaign with the club. Wilson size 42 tag sewn to collar of jersey along with a strip tag reading "18 73 2 42" designating the uniform number, year of issue, set number and size. "73" box tag also sewn to tail while team name and number are sewn to jersey in blue tackle twill. Cubbie bear patch also present on left sleeve.
Wilson size 33 tag sewn to waist of pants along with strip tag reading "18 73 1 33 25" indicating the uniform number, year of issue, set number, waist and inseam. "J. Martin" written in black marker on the interior of one of the pockets. Team repair present on left pant leg. Beckert has also signed both elements of this uniform.
