Offered is a batting helmet donned by Todd Zeile during his run with the New York Mets at the outset of the 2000's. Helmet is black with blue brim and contains an American Flag decal (likely added in late 2001 as a 9/11 tribute) above the left ear and a MLB logo decal on the rear. Two "Zeile" laser print labels are also located on the exterior, one on the brim and one below the MLB decal. The interior of the helmet features a warning label, MLB Authentic Diamond Collection sticker and a 7 3/8 size decal. Overall helmet shows signs of good usage in the form of numerous markings scattered throughout the exterior and a small area of pine tar underneath the brim. (X0225)
