Featured in this lot is a black Turner Ward Louisville Slugger game used bat. Model number 072 is stamped on the barrel along with Turner Ward in block letters on this 34", 31 ounce piece of lumber. Bat shows signs of heavy use with numerous ball marks, deeply embedded stitch marks, bat rack marks, cleat marks, a heavy application of pine tar and an 18" handle crack. Ward's uniform number 27 also appears to be scratched or lightly carved into the knob. (P0122)
