Put to use by one of baseball's all-time greatest second basemen, this 31-ounce, 34-inch Louisville served Jeff Kent during his time with the Houston Astros in 2003 and '04. The bat has the model number M110 and Kent's block letter first and last name imprinted on its barrel. The maple stick matches Kent's known factory records and exhibits signs of heavy game use with heavy ball marks, deeply embedded stitch marks rack marks and light handle preparation (pine tar). Kent's Astros number (12) has been written on the knob in black marker.
Grade A9: 5 points for matching records, 3 points for use and 1 point for uniform number on knob.
