Offered is a signature model K55 35”-31 oz. game bat with heavy use, deep lace marks, and a 13” handle crack. His uniform number 42 (he wore number 42 for the Yankees from 1963-65) is in black marker on the knob. There is a 5” layer off the back of the barrel. He was traded from the Yankees to the Indians mid season 1965 where he stayed thru 1967. His professional career spanned from 1958-74. He played for Binghamton, Modesto, St. Petersburg, Richmond, Tulsa, Portland, Wichita, Charleston, Jacksonville, and Tampico and Chihuahua of the Mexican League. Other leagues included the PCL, Florida state, California, International, and Southern. Pedro couldn’t replace the Yankees Richardson and was suspended from baseball in 1965 for swinging his bat at Larry Sherry. Grades an A5.5 due to the piece off back but still a rare Yankee bat.
