Offered is a 24 EM (Emil Meusel) game bat, hand turned in the 1920’s by Joseph Kren at his shop in Syracuse NY.  Clients of Kren included many New York players such as Ruth and Gehrig along with such great hitters as Mel Ott, and Jimmie Foxx.  The bat is a block letter last name only 35”-36.5 oz club with heavy game use including swelling on all hitting surfaces, cleat marks, and some light dead wood on back. The handle is taped and it appears original or at least vintage with no discernible handle crack. A key game bat for the Giants, Dodgers or PCL collector.
