Longtime infielder Eddie Miksis enjoyed a respectable big league career, both on the field and at the plate. At some point during his professional career, Miksis used this bat.
This game bat can be pinpointed to the 1951 H&B shipping records as having been sent on 7-10-51 while he was playing for the Brooklyn Dodgers (1944 until June of 51 when he was traded to Cubs) It is a block letter M146 that is 34.5 inches and 30.7 oz. The bat shows heavy game use with deeply embedded ball marks, cleat marks and a repaired handle crack with some spotting on the barrel.
