Outfielder and first baseman was an All-Star in 1946. Signed by the St. Louis Cardinals as an amateur free agent in 1936, Hopp would make his Major League Baseball debut with the St. Louis Cardinals on September 18, 1939, and appear in his final game on September 27, 1952. Hopp played in 3 World Series for the Cardinals in 1942, 43 and 44 as well as with the Yankees World Series squad in both 1950 and 1951.
Offered is a signature model H142 that is 35 inches and 30.5 oz. It shows moderate game use with surface marks and a swelled, hitting surface on both sides with rack and cleat marks exhibiting perfect markings and a nice original factory finish.
